SCAD Presents: 'chefATL'

chefATL is an original student-produced docuseries that explores the diversity of Atlanta through its dynamic culinary landscape, one chef at a time. In the latest episode, “Burnt Ends and New Beginnings,” food writer and critic Jennifer Zyman joins Chef Jiyeon Lee as she merges her passion for cooking with her love of art and relationships, redefining joy through her culinary creations. Distributed by PBS, chefATL is a production of SCAD Film Studios and a collaborative effort of more than 250 SCAD students across 20 degree programs to date.

Actor Ali Larter will be presented with the Distinguished Performance Award. A Q&A with Larter, moderated by TVLine editor-in-chief Kim Roots, immediately follows the screening.

Scrubs

In this revival comedy series starring Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke, J.D. and Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time. Medicine has changed; interns have changed; but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart Hospital with laughter, heart, and some surprises along the way.

Rick and Morty

Revisit a fan-favorite episode of Rick and Morty and get a first look at what chaos awaits in the show’s highly anticipated ninth season, courtesy of its creative team. The Emmy Award-winning Adult Swim comedy series follows sociopathic genius scientist Rick Sanchez, who drags his inherently timid grandson Morty on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Living with his daughter Beth’s family, Rick constantly brings her, his son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Summer, into his and Morty’s intergalactic escapades.

Bridgerton

Bridgerton, from Shondaland and Jess Brownell, returns for a fairy-tale inspired fourth season. Bohemian second son Benedict Bridgerton refuses to settle down, until he is awestruck by a masked, mysterious Lady in Silver. But his heart’s desire is not in society at all: she is resourceful maid Sophie Baek. When fate brings Benedict and Sophie together, Benedict wrestles between the reality of his affection for Sophie and the fantasy of the Lady in Silver, unaware that they are the same person.

Abbott Elementary

In Abbott Elementary, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers — and a slightly tone-deaf principal — are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these incredible educators may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do, even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.
